Teaching Observation Service 

How do I get started?

Phone 785-4391 or e-mail Julie Lochbaum, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, to request an observation. This is a confidential, five-step process:

(1) We'll set up an initial meeting to determine the focus of the observation.

(2) We conduct the observation - either in the teaching/learning setting or by video.

(3) We meet to debrief what was observed.

(4) You will receive a written, follow-up memo for your records.

(5) You agree to respond to a service assessment two to three weeks following the conclusion of the process.
