TruTube is designed to facilitate the placement of video and audio files on Truman websites such as a Blackboard course or a personal/professional webpage. Workshop attendees may want have a (10 min or shorter) multimedia file available to practice with (.wav, .wmv, .avi, .mp3, .mov, etc.)

Blackboard & Blogs & Wikis, Oh My! Sign Up View List
Join IDS team members Diane and Barb as they present a demo on Learning Objects Teams LX and Journal LX, new features being added to Blackboard this fall. According to Learning Objects, Teams LX is a great way for instructors to create group assignments. Students work cooperatively to formulate, write, and publish their solutionsusing wiki technology. Utilizing blog technology, Journal LX gives instructors and students the tools to create rich media journals within a course.

**New** Blackboard Resource (Blackboard SafeAssign) Sign Up View List
This session will focus on the new Blackboard tool designed to extend the capabilities of the Learning System. We will examine SafeAssign, a new plagiarism prevention tool that can be used to educate students about proper citation of sources. We will look at how students submit papers and view plagiarism detection results, how instructors can view student results, how instructors can create a SafeAssignment, and how instructors can submit documents to be checked for plagiarism.
